I am a Certified Passive House Designer, which means I’m trained in creating buildings that use far less energy for heating and cooling. In simple terms, it’s about making homes well-insulated, airtight and comfortable, helping to reduce running costs and improve overall performance.

While Passive House principles apply directly to high-performance buildings, many sustainability concepts can be adapted to smaller projects, extensions and alterations. I’m skilled at identifying practical, cost-effective ways to improve comfort and reduce energy use, without overcomplicating things or forcing solutions that aren’t suitable.

Every project is different, and my approach is always tailored to you. I can advise on measures that enhance the building fabric and lower running costs, drawing on my Passive House experience as a foundation – but only where it makes sense for your project, your budget, and your home.
